Blu Plemmirio is a territorial marketing project initiated by AMP Plemmirio aimed at promoting and encouraging the enhancement and protection of the area. Capo Murro Diving Center has joined this project to refine its work path, increasing and acquiring new skills in Sustainable Tourism and to discover best practices and spread virtuous behaviors. Sustainable Tourism aims to promote knowledge and appreciation of local cultures and traditions, while respecting the environment and the living systems of host countries, territories and populations. Capo Murro Diving Center by adhering to the BluPlemmirio Project is committed to adopt, all measures to protect and respect the environment.

Sea Shepherd practices direct action tactics to investigate, document, and act-when necessary-to show the world and prevent illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the delicate biodiversity of ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations. “Operation Syracuse” aims to conserve the marine ecosystem of the west coast of Syracuse in the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area, the natural habitat of tuna, amberjack, sharks and cetaceans, and aims to protect, in addition, the sea urchin and brown grouper.
